Multi Trade Maintenance Operative

Overview

After Care Operative, Multi Skilled Maintenance Trade Person, and Multi Skilled Carpenter. This is a temporary position for 12 weeks. The employer is a private sector housing developer working through Resourcing Group. The role requires travel from Truro to Newquay, across to Penzance, and areas in between. All work will be carried out in occupied homes, performing day-to-day repairs as reported by the customer who has purchased the property and is living in it.

• Carry out day-to-day repairs in occupied houses, with a predominantly carpentry bias.
• Apply additional skills such as basic patch repair, tiling repair, general repairs and maintenance, and painting where required.

• Experience in carpentry and general repair work.
• Willingness to travel across assigned areas (Truro to Newquay, Penzance, and nearby regions).
• Comfort working in customers' occupied homes and adapting to varied repair scenarios.

• Fully stocked van with access to paid-for materials and tools to complete assigned jobs.
• Fuel card for the vehicle.
