MET Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician or Bodyshop Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Truro. Applicants must have previous MET experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. IMI accreditation or an equivalent qualification is desirable.

Location:

Truro, Cornwall
Salary:  £35,000 Basic
OTE:  £50,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm  – No weekends  (however there is overtime available)

MET Technician Role
Carry out Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) repairs and replacement work
Remove and refit vehicle components during the accident repair process
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete repairs safely and efficiently within agreed timescales
Work to required industry, insurance and repair standards
Liaise with colleagues to ensure required parts are available
Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout every repair

MET Technician Requirements
Previous experience as a MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Ability to work efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
IMI accreditation or an equivalent qualification is desirable
