Join Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) in Truro as an Electrical Technician and bring your troubleshooting skills to a manufacturing environment where you'll work with electrical systems, PLCs, drives, controls and industrial equipment.
You'll earn $42.17 to $45.85 per hour, receive a $500 annual tool allowance, get paid weekly, and have access to a company pension plan and comprehensive benefits.

The Opportunity  As an Electrical Technician, you'll be part of the maintenance team responsible for keeping our manufacturing equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
This isn't a role where every day looks the same. You'll troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose electrical and control-system faults, complete preventative maintenance, support equipment upgrades and installations, and help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.

You'll work with a range of industrial electrical technologies, including PLCs, motor drives, electrical controls, instrumentation, analog and digital components, and industrial electrical systems.
You'll also work alongside other skilled tradespeople, sharing knowledge and contributing to a strong standard of safety and workmanship across the plant.
What You’ll Do   Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment
Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, controls, PLCs, drives and related equipment
Respond to electrical service calls and equipment issues on the production floor
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance
Repair, replace, modify and install electrical components…
