The Department of Lands and Forestry seeks a Photo Interpretation Technician to maintain Nova Scotia's forest inventory data. In this role, you’ll apply your knowledge of forest attributes, engage in quality control checks, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret tree and shrub species through aerial imagery

• Conduct quality control reviews with contract interpreters

Requirements:

• Graduation from recognized forestry technician program

• Experience with aerial imagery interpretation

• Strong skills in tree and plant identification

• Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver’s License
