Position: Journeyman Electrician for Substation Projects
Enhance your career as a Journeyman Electrician with our Substations group. This field-based role focuses on medium and high voltage electrical systems, ensuring safe project execution across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

As a valued member of the team, you'll work under the Substation Construction Foreman to lead construction efforts on critical infrastructure projects. Your expertise in high voltage systems and ability to interpret blueprints will be vital in contributing to the enhancement of the inter-provincial power grid and renewable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction of medium and high voltage systems

• Perform substation steel erection and cable tray building

• Oversee installation of transformers, switch gear, and equipment

• Execute cable installation for power distribution systems

• Interpret electrical blueprints for project implementation

Requirements:

• 4 years of construction industry experience

• Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) certification

• Knowledge of construction disciplines and safety regulations

• Ability to read blueprints and understand SCADA systems

• Valid driver’s license with a good record
