DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics. As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you'll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. This role will mainly cover the Trussville, AL area (on-call pay, mileage reimbursement and additional travel pay if outside your designated area is offered).

• Repair and regularly service dialysis machines in DaVita clinics.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed and travel between clinics when required.
• Ensure life-sustaining dialysis treatments stay operational.

• Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge & diagnostics; prior experience in this type of work is preferred. DaVita will train and certify the right candidate.
• Great communication skills;
  DaVita teammates communicate openly, honestly and frequently with each other.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot; solid computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
• Available for on-call rotations as needed to meet clinic needs.
• Requirements: High School Diploma (GED) required at onboarding; valid driver's license; proof of auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the area to provide adequate emergency response coverage.
