Position Overview
Provides direct nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and expert care for severe illnesses and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and conditions.
- Serve as primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Follow and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within specified time frames.
- Minimum of one year of recent emergency department or ICU experience.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills for high-pressure environments.
12-bed emergency department providing 24/7 care with access to onsite imaging, labs, and streamlined admissions.
