Job Title: Material Handler (1st Shift)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Moody, AL (On-site)
Job OverviewThe Material Handler will work under limited supervision and perform a variety of warehouse and inventory-related duties with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality. This role requires willingness to work mandatory overtime when needed.
Responsibilities- Work independently under limited supervision to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Receive inventory from vendors, inspect for conformance, and process receipts into SAP
- Maintain accurate storage locations and warehouse organization
- Update SAP system with inventory movements and new storage locations
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Pull, stage, and supply materials for shipping and production needs
- Ensure assembly cells are stocked with required materials
- Maintain, inspect, and clean equipment as required
- Follow 6S principles to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of trade school (preferred but not required)
- 100% on-site position in Moody, AL
