Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization that is looking to bring on a hands‑on Accounting Manager to support their Controller and help lead a team through a period of transformation and growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys stepping into evolving environments, building structure, and making a real impact across accounting operations.

• Lead and mentor accounting staff, including direct oversight of Accounts Payable
• Support month-end and year-end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
• Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations and month-end adjustments
• Review financials (P&L, balance sheet, GL) and perform variance analysis
• Ensure accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP
• Help improve processes and strengthen internal controls
• Support ERP transition efforts (Amtech/EnCore) and system improvements
• Assist with projects like transitioning from check payments to ACH

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Manufacturing experience (inventory, raw materials, etc.) is a big plus
• Experience with ERP systems (Amtech/EnCore preferred)
• Someone who is organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
