Position: Administrative Assistant / Front Office Assistant

The Tualatin Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, 501 C (6) membership-based organization, serving over 250 local businesses. Committed to fostering a thriving local economy, the Chamber supports business growth through workforce development, education, and community advocacy. It provides a range of networking opportunities and represents the interests of businesses at local, county, and regional levels. Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Tualatin, OR, for an Administrative Assistant / Front Office Assistant. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing office communications, scheduling and coordinating appointments, providing administrative and clerical support, and maintaining a welcoming front office environment. The role also involves interacting with members, answering calls, assisting with inquiries, and supporting the Chamber’s operations and events.

Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone etiquette to provide positive and professional interactions with members and visitors.
  • Proficiency in appointment scheduling and managing calendars effectively.
  • Competence in administrative assistance and clerical skills, including document preparation and organizational tasks.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Experience in customer service or office support preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office management or administration are an asset.
  • Local candidates or those planning to relocate near Tualatin prefered.
  • Ability to handle several responsibilities at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
