About the Job
We are looking for a Processing Lead to serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to our document processing team. In this role, you will act as a go-to resource for our team of document processors, sharing expertise and best practices while helping to maintain operational excellence. This position requires strong communication and coaching abilities to guide team members through complex processes and ensure consistent, high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Handle escalations from the Customer Service Supervisors, Leads, and Reps
- Provide support, training, and guidance for team members to ensure effective and efficient document processing
- Manually process and upload documents while maintaining accuracy
- Collaborate with agents, vendors, property managers, customer service representatives and account managers to resolve document-related issues
- Adapt to evolving document processing needs and handle additional responsibilities as assigned
- Attention to Detail:
Ability to identify errors and discrepancies in documents, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Strong Communication
Skills:
Excellent written communication for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners.
- Organized & Efficient:
Able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Technical Proficiency:
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with keyboarding, 5-key pad, and Adobe applications. Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) programs is a plus.
- Teamwork & Independence:
Able to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Repetitive Task Handling:
Comfort and consistency in performing repetitive tasks without compromising quality.
- Preferred Knowledge:
Basic understanding of insurance documentation is preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn is essential.
- High School Diploma or GED
- The physical demands of this position are in keeping with general office functions: sitting, navigating an office environment, using a computer, keyboard, telephone, etc. for up to 8 hours per day.
- The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
