Day Shift: Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position).
Job SummaryThe Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to ensure a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a service-oriented mindset to effectively assist customers across multiple channels.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Key Responsibilities- Engage with customers via phone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and product information
- Process and enter customer orders for new or additional products and services
- Address customer questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist or department
- Ensure timely resolution of customer problems and inquiries
- Maintain customer accounts and interaction records, documenting inquiries, complaints, and comments
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Excel - Advanced skills required - V-Look-Up, Concatenate, Pivot Tables
- MRP/ERP experience strongly preferred
- Able to pivot quickly to address immediate needs and then able to pivot back to original tasks
- Service-oriented approach with the ability to resolve customer grievances
- Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new software
- Data entry accuracy is incredibly important
- Excellent time management and efficiency in task completion
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
