Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Pediatric Dentistry
Full-Time | $27–$30 per hour

- Assisting the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
- Performing expanded function duties as allowed by Oregon regulations
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
- Taking dental radiographs (RHS certification required)
- Supporting children and families to create a positive dental experience
- Maintaining accurate patient records in practice management software
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Following OSHA, CDC, and ADA safety guidelines
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
- RHS certification required
- 1–3 years of dental assisting experience OR graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program
- BLS/CPR certification (recertification covered by employer)
- Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient‑focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced pediatric dental environment
- Team‑oriented with a positive and professional mindset
- Drug screen required – this is a safety‑sensitive role
