Waste Coordinator-Tualatin

About the Role

As a CBRE Waste Coordinator, you will support and coordinate waste planning activities, ensuring proper management of waste removal, recycling, and treatment processes. This role sits within the Waste Management function and focuses on maintaining compliance, documentation accuracy, and safe handling of regulated waste streams.

• Process small to medium waste shipments in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Receive and manage inbound orders related to regulated waste requirements.
• Review shipping documents, waste profiles, labels, and markings for each scheduled inbound shipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Submit waste stream profiles for approval and maintain updated records and registers.
• Ensure accurate preparation of waste shipment documentation and coordinate approved waste for outbound dispatch.
• Safeguard the organization and clients by ensuring proper handling procedures and reporting any site or environmental damage to senior coordinators.
• Follow established procedures to resolve routine operational issues with limited discretion.
• Execute tasks under defined processes with close supervision and guidance.

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow structured work routines and established operational standards.
• Basic communication skills to exchange routine and clear information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.
