Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer
Schedule: Standard Business Hours (Monday–Friday)
Pride Now, a division of Pride Global, is hiring a Process Engineering Technician to support Research & Development process engineering activities in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and laboratory/fab focused, supporting equipment setup, wafer processing, and experimental test runs while partnering closely with process engineers and operators.
The ideal candidate brings strong equipment handling experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and escalate issues effectively in a disciplined, SOP-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform technical tests and experiments in support of R&D process engineering initiatives.
- Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment
, including loading and handling wafers. - Execute controlled test runs to evaluate process performance and support new product development.
- Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators to ensure adherence to established processes.
- Collect, analyze, and document data; prepare records, charts, and graphs for engineering review.
- Identify yield issues, process deviations, and improvement opportunities, escalating concerns as needed.
- Provide hands-on technical support to process development and engineering teams
. - Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and cleanroom or lab procedures with precision and consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and experimental success.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing or processing equipment
. - Hands-on experience with wafer handling and loading (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with proven process discipline and SOP compliance.
- Ability to monitor processes, identify anomalies, and escalate issues effectively
. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to accurately document results and present data to engineering teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D or manufacturing environment.
- Background in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting process engineering or R&D teams
. - Familiarity with yield analysis, process optimization, or experimental testing.
- Proficiency with basic data tools (Excel, charts, graphs, documentation).
- Gain hands-on experience supporting cutting-edge R&D and process development
. - Work closely with engineering teams on new technologies and products.
- Build valuable experience in a disciplined, high-tech manufacturing environment.
