About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support facilities and engineering operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating site plans, engineering drawings, document repositories, and facility records while ensuring all documentation meets established quality and drafting standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD expertise
, document control experience, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to support facility updates, engineering changes, and project close-out documentation.
- Maintain site plans and building drawings, including:
- Electrical drawings
- Mechanical layouts
- Plumbing and process piping diagrams
- Manage centralized document control systems, including electronic repositories and physical files
- Search file repositories and deliver requested documentation to stakeholders
- Incorporate project close-out files into as-built documentation
- Update and add CAD drawings provided by Engineering and Construction teams
- Maintain permit cards and project close-out records
- Correct drawing files for proper layering and drafting standards
- Create detailed drawings from sketches, layouts, and engineering notes for:
- Tool installations
- Specialized labs
- Manufacturing support areas
- Conduct field audits to verify drawing accuracy and collect field measurements
- Update electrical panel schedules and single-line drawings based on field modifications
- Support future CAD integration with Tririga Facilities Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS)
- Follow document control processes for creation, revision, approval, and distribution
- Gather and prepare documents for plotting equipment templates to scale
- Process work order requests and log updates using Tririga
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience with Bluebeam
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering design principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical architectural and engineering drawings
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Tririga IWMS
- Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or facilities engineering environments
- Knowledge of electrical panel schedules and single-line diagrams
