American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT-CT certification for an evening shift assignment in an adult acute care setting.
Details- Adult acute care setting including Emergency Department and ICU support
- Performs CT imaging of the abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest, including vascular studies such as CTA and pulmonary embolism protocols
- Uses Toshiba/Canon and Siemens CT scanners with PACS for imaging and post-processing
- 3x12-hour evening shifts, Friday-Sunday 2:00 PM-2:30 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Required to float within the site and across the health system as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Toshiba/Canon CT equipment required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement preferred
- Proficient in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
- Active Oregon state license required, or proof of license application and fingerprinting at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
- No felony convictions accepted
- Performs image display and post-processing techniques including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Maintains radiation safety standards and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with none allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Former staff must be separated from the facility or health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
