Description:
Required:
1 year experience in the field.
Travelers must float within a site and across the system.
Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week of assignment.
Cancellation terms:
Must cancel 1.5 hours before the start of a shift.
Mandatory cancellation of one shift per two-week pay period is possible without cause or penalty.
Skills:
3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering).Abdomen without and/or with contrast.
Adult Acute Care.
Carotid, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast.
Emergency Department experience.
Head without and/or with contrast.
ICU, Isolation Precautions/PPE.Lumbar, Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP).Musculoskeletal trauma.
PACS experience.
Pelvis without and/or with contrast.
Preparation and/or administration of contrast media.
Clienttion Safety.
Region of interest measurement (ROI).Siemens.
Sinuses, Soft tissue neck.
Starting Peripheral IVs.Thoracic, Trauma head.
Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta).Venipuncture.
Patient Care Details:
Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census approximately 130 patients.
CT Tech will primarily cover Emergency Department and inpatient exams.
No scheduled outpatients during designated hours.
Time Off:
Maximum of 7 days permitted, with no time off during the first two weeks of the assignment.
All requests must be included at the time of submission.
Background Review:
No felony convictions accepted.
Any background hit must include a traveler explanation statement and waiver documentation.
Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
Compliance Documentation:
All compliance documents must be completed and submitted prior to the start date.
Pre-start requirements, including modules, skills testing, competencies, and compliance activities, are non-billable.
Modules completed during orientation may be billable if completed within the first 8 hours.
RNs are required to complete an Epic Test-Out Module, and if they do not pass, an 8-hour training course will be assigned at no cost.
