Position Summary

The Project Manager IT Infrastructure & Real Estate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology infrastructure and facilities‑related projects across the organization. This role ensures seamless execution of IT system deployments, office buildouts, relocations, and facility upgrades by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, managing vendors, and driving projects from initiation through successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Management
  • Develop project scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Manage end‑to‑end project life cycles using established project management methodologies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain risk logs, issue logs, change management documentation, and communication plans.
  • IT Infrastructure Project Delivery
  • Lead implementation and upgrades of IT systems including networks, servers, storage, WiFi, firewalls, and cloud components.
  • Coordinate with IT architects, network teams, cybersecurity, and support teams to ensure high‑quality technical delivery.
  • Oversee procurement and installation of IT hardware, software, and related services.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security standards, data protection requirements, and compliance guidelines.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure changes and migrations with minimal operational downtime.
  • Real Estate & Facilities Project Delivery
  • Manage office buildouts, renovations, space planning, and facility improvements.
  • Coordinate office relocations including physical moves, furniture, utilities, and IT readiness.
  • Partner with architects, contractors, facility managers, and building management to ensure effective project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, environmental standards, and safety policies.
  • Track design approvals, construction timelines, inspections, and project handovers.
  • Cross‑Functional & Vendor Coordination
  • Act as the primary project liaison between IT, Facilities, HR, Finance, Security, and business units.
  • Facilitate decision‑making, manage expectations, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage vendor relationships, RFP processes, quotations, SLAs, and contracts.
  • Risk, Quality & Compliance Management
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve issues impacting budgets, timelines, or scope.
  • Ensure quality standards, testing procedures, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and met.
  • Conduct post‑implementation reviews and document lessons learned.
  • Project Handover & Documentation
  • Coordinate UAT, system readiness checks, infrastructure validation, and facility handovers.
  • Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations, support, and facilities teams.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and/or real estate/facility projects.
  • Strong understanding of networks, servers, cloud technologies, and IT security principles.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, engineering drawings, and facility operations.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, PMBOK).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.

Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage.
