Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10–12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
- Complete hazardous material shipping orders and related paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
- Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
- Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Have a high school diploma or GED and be proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Have 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, plus a valid Class A or B CDL.
- Be 21 years or older.
- Currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
- Have no alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years.
- Be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
- Have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
