In this role, you will help keep medical products ready for patient utilization through cleaning, disinfecting, operational checks, and minor repairs.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes. Load and unload Baxter products and maneuver the medical equipment within truck beds.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate needed repairs. Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on Baxter products.
- Provide on‑call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
- Navigate electronic devices (smartphone, tablet, or PC) to enter or acquire information.
- Demonstrate how to use Baxter products to hospital staff, caregivers, and other participants.
- Sustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities (sort, set in order, sweep, standardize, and sustain).
- Safely operate a company vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000‑pound truck.
- Lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes and ergonomic procedures.
- Wear proper PPE—including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves (latex and non‑latex), and protective clothing—and complete all required safety, compliance modules, and medical testing.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Valid driver’s license.
- DOT physical card (obtained and maintained).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
We understand compensation is an important factor. The estimated base salary for this position is $43,200 – $59,400.
