The impact you’ll make

Tualatin Pilot Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing specific tool type level programs in a high-tech research and development manufacturing space. Manufacturing Project Managers are expected to coordinate project (BEN level) timelines, schedules, unique requirements, and eliminate potential risks to meet Lam’s safety, production and organizational objectives and to be an exemplar of Lam’s core values through professional conduct.

What you’ll do

Project Planning & Forecasting

Develop and maintain executable manufacturing plans for modules launched in Pilot Manufacturing. Forecast router length, build hours, and resource requirements using historical data. Identify risks early, define mitigation plans, and communicate impacts to Management and Order Fulfillment. Ensure the accuracy of digital planning tools (e.g., Gantt charts, systems of record). Serve as the source of record for capacity and resource requirements.

Launch Readiness

Own on‑time module launch execution aligned to defined launch milestones. Ensure upcoming modules are preloaded into systems of record. Coordinate initial release of critical‑path components and confirm factory readiness. Support release‑to‑manufacturing decisions through data‑driven readiness inputs.

Work in Progress (WIP) Execution

Drive plans to achieve key milestones (Integration, Test Start, MCD). Rapidly respond to and elevate issues impacting module progress, including material shortages and engineering changes. Coordinate across functions to resolve risks, align mitigations, and hold owners accountable. Facilitate non‑Pilot personnel work within Pilot Manufacturing as required. Support material availability and issuance in partnership with Planning.

Program Sustainment & Transition

Provide feedback to improve manufacturing processes and operational policies. Serve as the Pilot Manufacturing point of contact for cross‑functional team meetings and program development activities. Partner with Engineering to ensure transition build deliverables are met in Manufacturing and Test. Maintain ongoing risk assessment and escalation for slotted record changes, OBCs, and transition milestones.
