Job Title:

Cleanroom Production Operator

Job Description

As a Cleanroom Production Operator, you will be responsible for creating and assembling complex plastic tube products. This involves utilizing techniques to fuse, cut, form, bend, and shape plastic (primarily PFA) tubing to meet precise design specifications. You will also use hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes. Reading and interpreting drawings/prints and work orders to fulfill design specifications is a crucial part of the role.

Collaboration within a team environment is essential to enhance techniques and improve repeatability.

Responsibilities
  • Create and assemble complex plastic tube products using various techniques.
  • Utilize hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes.
  • Read and interpret drawings/prints and work orders to meet design specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance techniques and improve repeatability.
  • Work with area lead to prioritize workload and notify lead of any shortages or schedule-impacting issues.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in tube bending and mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with measurement equipment and math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and PNIDs.
  • Effective communication with coworkers, area lead, and management.
  • Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking in a team environment.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in assembly within a cleanroom environment.
  • Proficiency using rulers, calipers, protractors, and various other measuring tools.

Work Environment

You will work in a cleanroom environment, although the fabricator role requires working outside the cleanroom as well. Be prepared to gown up and work in a cleanroom when necessary. The role operates on a swing shift from 3:30 pm to midnight with a 1/2 hour lunch break. Dayshift may also be available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
