Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. We offer a 10% shift differential on this schedule.

Salary Range
: $20.00 to $36.00 hourly

We are currently seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon. (On-site position)

Team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

• CNC Lathe Machinist (Levels 1-3) – CNC Lathe Machinist
• Read and understand drawings
• Start and observe machine operation
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors
• Process offset changes unassisted
• Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices
• Verify conformance of completed work
• Work on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX
  2500, NLX
  3000, NLX
  4000, NZX
  2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, Manual Lathe

• Extensive machine shop/metal working skills
• Ability to work with decimals
• Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
• Ability to set up your own jobs and run first part
• Ability to adjust programs if required
