Location: Tualatin, OR

Salary Range: $20 to $36 per hour

Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6 am to 6:30 pm. 10% shift differential.

We are currently seeking two CNC Mill Machinists for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon (On-site position).

Multiple CNC Mill Machinists required for the swing shift in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Start and observe machine operation
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors
• Process offset changes independently
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and other devices
• Verify conformance of completed work
• Work on vertical mills, Haas and Brother machines, and multiple machines concurrently

• Extensive machine shop / metalworking skills
• Ability to work with decimals
• Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
• Setup own jobs and run first part
• Adjust programs as needed
