The Role
As an Industrial Sewing Assembler, you will be responsible for the high-precision assembly of life-saving medical devices. This role combines technical machine operation with hands-on craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sewing: Sew components onto nylon strips using industrial sewing machines according to strict specifications.
- Complex Assembly: Hand-assemble specialized components, including tubes and wires.
- Machine Operation: Use screen printing machines for labeling and industrial laminating machines to adhere foam to devices.
- Quality Testing: Perform testing on sub-assemblies to ensure they meet rigorous safety standards.
- Finishing: Package completed devices per specific work instructions.
- Experience: At least 1 year in manufacturing, assembly, or production.
- Reliability: A proven track record of longevity (1-2 years at previous jobs).
- Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write in English to ensure workplace safety.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.
