a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #; } tr th { background-color: #; } Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to work in a restricted access electrical testing lab supporting product quality and compliance testing. This role involves hands on testing of low and medium voltage electrical products in a Lean, one piece flow environment, with a strong focus on safety, documentation, and troubleshooting.
This is a contract role at a manufacturing/testing facility that is scheduled to close by end of year, so the assignment may conclude earlier than expected. Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections and electrical testing of products ranging from 208V to 690V in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Set up and operate electronic test equipment, including:
    • Variac
    • Hi Pot / Ground Bond testers
    • Power analyzers
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Current clamps
    • Digital multimeters
  • Test products, record output data, and validate results against defined pass/fail specifications
  • Troubleshoot failed tests using diagnostic tools, analytical methods, and critical thinking
  • Maintain and update test reports and databases with accurate testing data
  • Analyze test results to determine compliance with quality standards
  • Work safely in a restricted access lab environment, strictly following safety protocols
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to injury free operations
  • Support continuous improvement in a Lean manufacturing/testing environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing electrical testing on products up to 690V
  • Associate s Degree in Electricity, Electronics, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Strong hands on experience with electrical test equipment and measurement tools
  • Proven ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot test failures
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to train on 1st shift
  • Comfortable participating in on site, face to face interviews
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Lean or high mix testing environment
  • Background supporting quality, compliance, or validation testing
