Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (flexibility for overtime, occasional weekends, and early coverage at 5:30am as needed)

Pacific Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Tualatin that is seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Production Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role oversees multiple manufacturing processes occurring simultaneously and requires strong leadership, operational awareness, and the ability to keep production moving efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and working in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Candidates with experience in wood manufacturing, furniture production, crating, or wood products manufacturing are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise crews of up to 50 employees to ensure daily productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
- Drive on-time completion of production orders while controlling labor costs and meeting operational KPIs
- Apply Lean tools such as 5S, waste reduction, visual management, and process flow improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Make real-time production decisions regarding crew allocation, workflow adjustments, and order priorities
- Monitor production metrics including throughput, labor efficiency, and order accuracy
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to maintain delivery timelines and commitments
- Maintain production documentation, inventory reporting, and assist with cycle counts
- Enforce safety standards and PPE compliance while promoting safe workplace behavior
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary
- 3+ years of experience supervising crews in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to operational detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in wood manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, crating, or wood product environments strongly preferred
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
