Join Shields Manufacturing in Tualatin, Oregon (on-site) as our High‑Tolerance CNC Operations Supervisor. You’ll report to the Manufacturing Manager and own day‑shift performance across Makino and UMC machining centers.

• Can you orchestrate multiple work centers so every due date is hit without compromising quality, safety, or machine life?
• Do you bring a coach’s mindset—hiring, developing, and motivating people to do their best work?
• Are you comfortable troubleshooting Makino/Haas equipment and coordinating maintenance, service, and parts?
• Can you translate shop capabilities into clear timelines for Quoting and Engineering?
• Do you thrive in a quick‑turn, prototype and short‑run environment supporting robotics, automation, electronics, and wafer processing?

• Assign work to employees and work centers; supervise Makino and UMC production.
• Maintain continuity among shifts via thorough documentation and communication of actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Troubleshoot issues; schedule preventive maintenance and repairs; order replacement parts.
• Protect assets by ensuring the right tooling and equipment are used on every job.
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and requirements.
• Uphold AS9100 quality policies and deliver on‑time, no‑compromise output.
• Partner with Quoting and Engineering on capabilities and estimated completion times.
• Guide prototyping and short‑run work on close‑tolerance, complex components.
• Hire, train, set goals, and give regular performance feedback.

• Shift: Day Shift (M–F, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.)
• Salary: $80,000–$95,000
