Job Type: this is a Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Setup Machinist/Programmer Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, including bridge mills, for prototype and production machining.
• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling selection, work holding, fixturing, and machine alignment.
• Read blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T to produce precision components within specification.
• Edit existing CNC programs and assist with developing new programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Inspect finished parts, troubleshoot machining issues, and collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturing processes.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 5 am – 1:30 pm

Pay: $32.00 – 40.00 an hour

Setup Machinist/Programmer

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC mills, including tooling, fixturing, work holding, and offsets.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and interpret GD&T requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience machining stainless steel, mild steel, hard-grade steels, and aluminum.
