Volunteer with Tualatin River keepers for Earth Day (age 6+) Referral
Celebrate Earth Day with the River keepers!
About the ProgramTualatin River keepers is a community-based organization that protects and restores the Tualatin River watershed. We build watershed stewardship through advocacy, restoration work, river access, and education. Our three key areas of focus – advocacy, stewardship, and river experiences – engage hundreds of volunteers and thousands of participants each year, who gain an appreciation of the watershed and its protection by experiencing it first-hand.
Aboutthe Project
Join Tualatin River keepers for our Earth Day Fair and volunteer at our office’s Backyard Habitat along the Tualatin River Greenway. On this day, we’ll be removing English ivy, cultivating more space for native plants and healthy habitat along the greenway. Snacks, coffee, tools, safety gear and instruction provided. We will finish in time for you to join in on the fun!
Stick around afterwards to visit community booths, spin the wheel to win a prize from Tualatin River keepers or join a paddle session on the Tualatin River!
