Our South Metro area full‑service medical center combines the friendly feel of a community hospital with the skill and services of a larger medical center. Specialties include stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care, orthopedic and total joint surgery, a birth center, and a breast health center.

As a vital member of our health care team, you’ll provide top‑notch patient care within your assigned department or unit. You will work closely with clinical managers and other health professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion. You’ll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care plans and improve patient outcomes.

• Provide patient care within an assigned department or unit.
• Participate as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
• Assess, analyze, plan, implement and evaluate patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health System, including those for patient assessment and transfer.

• Education
  :
  Must have licensure. A BSN or degree in progress is strongly preferred. A BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
• Experience
  :
  One‑year registered nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or an equivalent nursing program. Additional clinical experience requirements may vary by department.
• Additional Qualifications
  :
  • Must hold AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers and AHA NRP mandatory. Must obtain Advanced NRP within 6 weeks or by completion of orientation, whichever is longer.
  • Travel nurses must maintain Essential NRP if not performing in Charge, Neonatal Resuscitation, Baby, or NICU RN roles.
  • If caring for recovering obstetric or surgical patients, must hold AHA ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be stable within 6 months of hire.
  • Must complete Advance Fetal Monitoring Course and mandatory scrub or scrub‑training within 6 months of hire (specific to Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital).
  • Must follow the Women’s Education Plan for ongoing competencies.
• Knowledge / Skills
  :
  Must demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community. Must have keyboard and electronic system navigation proficiency applicable to job functions.
• Licensure
  :
  Must hold a current applicable state RN license and mandatory mandatory AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.

USD $54.37 – USD $81.21 per hour.
