Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to review and disposition nonconforming materials
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation including DMRs, NCRs, dispositions, and corrective actions
- Ensure timely processing of nonconforming material to minimize production and supply chain impact
- Act as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams
- Investigate nonconforming electronic components and assemblies and support root cause analysis
- Apply quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis
- Assist with implementation and verification of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Track, analyze, and report MRB metrics and quality trends
- Perform inspections and evaluations to ensure conformance to specifications
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Support internal and external audits related to MRB and quality processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Familiarity with MRB processes, nonconformance handling, and quality documentation
- Knowledge of ESD handling and electronic component quality requirements
- Experience working with or alongside Quality Engineers
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with ERP and quality management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Working knowledge of industry quality standards such as ISO 9001
- Experience inspecting electronic components or assemblies
- Working knowledge of GD&T and technical drawings
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or electronics manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with IPC standards or similar quality frameworks
- Experience using measurement tools, microscopes, and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
