Quality Inspector - 1st​/2nd Shift - Tualatin

Location: Tualatin

Pay: $22+/hour, based on experience

Job Type: Contract (3–6 months with potential extension and possible contract-to-hire opportunity)

Schedule: Full-time | Multiple shift options available

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support quality inspection operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing routine and non‑routine inspections using precision metrology tools and established inspection methods to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

• Perform routine and non‑routine mechanical inspections using predetermined methods to verify product acceptability
• Conduct visual, functional, and mechanical inspections, including optics verification and collimator setup
• Verify inspection data using double‑gaging methods to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Support Quality Engineering with MRB identification and processing of nonconforming material
• Utilize company operating systems to perform material movements, inquiries, and other required functions
• Assist with validation of fixtures and gauges to maintain efficient product flow
• Participate in corrective action processes and follow‑up activities to resolve quality issues
• Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns clearly with supervisors and team members
• Contribute ideas and process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities related to internal and external quality issues
• Maintain organized and safe work spaces through 5S and workplace sustainment activities

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
• Experience with metrology tools and inspection techniques preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
