AboutThe Role
As the senior sales representative leading our West Coast territory, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and expanding our market presence. You will leverage your technical acumen and sales expertise to deliver compelling commercial presentations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop solutions that meet critical customer needs.
What You’ll Do- Drive Growth & Opportunity:
Achieve revenue targets through strategic account development, new business acquisition, and expanding market share across core industries like aerospace, defense, and energy. - Engage & Influence Customers:
Build and nurture strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and senior decision‑makers. Lead complex, solution‑oriented sales cycles involving capital machinery and technical applications. - Deliver Value‑Driven Solutions:
Leverage your knowledge of metal cutting, CNC machining, turning, milling, and automation to create and present tailored solutions. Collaborate closely with engineering and applications teams for customer‑specific results. - Lead & Execute Sales Strategy:
Set and manage sales targets and KPIs. Maintain disciplined pipeline management and deliver accurate forecasting, ensuring success is repeatable and measurable. - Stay Ahead of the Curve:
Monitor competitive market conditions and pricing trends, and represent the organization at key trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in machine tools, metal cutting, or industrial manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to win and grow business in complex technical settings
