Service Center Technician

We’re hiring a Service Center Technician to initiate and execute service activities at Xylem service center locations safely and efficiently. The technician will proactively troubleshoot systems, work with mechanical, electrical and diesel equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, manage parts inventory, and address safety issues on both company‑ and customer‑owned equipment. The role may interface with customers and support delivery of Xylem equipment when necessary.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industry‑specific license(s) preferred
• Ability to obtain required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA)
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• 2 to 5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience

The work environment is frequently outdoors under weather extremes. Exposure to hazardous materials, loud noise, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) are common. Physical demands include regular sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The position may require 20%‑30% travel, including overnight stays, and occasional weekend, night, or on‑call work.

Salary range: $38,300.00 – $61,300.00. The competitive compensation package includes medical, dental, vision plans, a 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and a voluntary full‑time hours program known as Xylem Watermark, a paid volunteer initiative.
