About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment used by leading technology companies worldwide. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on technical problem‑solving, working directly with customers, and ensuring the performance and reliability of highly complex electro‑mechanical systems.

As part of a global customer support organization, you will play a key role in maintaining critical equipment, improving operational performance, and delivering exceptional technical solutions throughout the equipment lifecycle.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Field Service Engineer III, you will be a trusted technical partner for customers, providing expertise in equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing equipment downtime, improving productivity, and supporting the continued advancement of semiconductor manufacturing technology.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide on‑site repair, preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, and startup support for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot advanced electro‑mechanical and electronic systems by performing diagnostics, isolating issues to component level, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze equipment performance issues and develop effective response plans to meet customer needs.
  • Support field modifications, upgrades, and technical improvements while maintaining accurate service documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, representing the organization with professionalism and a strong customer focus.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training, certification programs, and exposure to evolving semiconductor technologies.
What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Previous experience installing, maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working in various positions for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Flexibility to support various shifts, compressed workweeks, overtime, and on‑call schedules when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting customers in a technical service environment.
