- Drive or learn to drive a forklift to move equipment, materials, or parts as required for maintenance activities.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality, recognizing that two unplanned absences in the first 30 days may result in termination.
- Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned to support facility operations and production needs.
- For more advanced-level technicians, troubleshoot electrical problems more independently and support complex diagnostics.
- Make advanced machine parameter adjustments to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Assist in identifying part numbers and vendor sources for replacement parts, helping to streamline the maintenance supply chain.
- Perform minor rewiring of equipment as needed to support repairs and modifications.
- Fabricate specialty parts under supervision using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&, and technical drawings to guide maintenance and repair work.
- Operate MIG/TIG welders, manual mills, and lathes to support equipment repair and fabrication tasks.
- Assist in training lower-level technicians by sharing knowledge, demonstrating best practices, and supporting skill development.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures, processes, and documentation to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Assist in new equipment installations, facility layout changes, and other special projects as needed.
