Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Millwright to support maintenance and reliability efforts within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with a variety of industrial systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, dismantle, and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, drawings, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Perform precision alignment, leveling, and balancing of rotating equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments
  • Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability
Required Qualifications
  • Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • years of experience as a millwright or industrial maintenance mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drive systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Proficiency with precision measurement and alignment tools
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to [50-75] lbs regularly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or apprenticeship completion
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment (mechanical interface)
  • Forklift, scissor lift, or rigging certifications
  • Experience in wood products manufacturing
