The impact you’ll make

Lam Research is seeking a hands‑on EHS Applications Technical Lead to design, build, enhance, and support enterprise solutions for Lam’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) business. This role owns end‑to‑end delivery and platform stewardship across SaaS EHS platforms (Intelex, 3E), along with supporting custom and low‑code solutions built on Microsoft and Java technologies. The role follows a configuration‑first philosophy, leveraging targeted custom development and AI‑assisted development tools where appropriate to improve delivery efficiency and quality.

The Technical Lead is accountable for solution architecture, integrations, Dev Ops, security, L2/L3 production support, and audit readiness, while also providing technical leadership, mentoring, and clear stakeholder communication in an enterprise environment.

What you’ll do
  • Own end-to-end delivery of EHS application solutions, from requirements and design through development, integration, deployment, and production support.
  • Partner with EHS business stakeholders to elicit requirements, translate them into user stories, and validate acceptance criteria.
  • Own L2/L3 run support, configuration, integrations, and continuous improvement of Intelex and 3E SaaS EHS platforms, ensuring stability, compliance, and SLA adherence.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between EHS stakeholders, SaaS vendors, and IT teams to manage incidents, enhancements, audits, and platform roadmap evolution.
  • Design, build, and support business‑critical web and Power Platform solutions aligned with Lam enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
  • Design and deliver integrations between internal Lam systems and third‑party applications using REST APIs, approved connectors, and enterprise data services.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot to improve developer productivity and code quality, while ensuring adherence to Lam secure SDLC, code review, and testing standards.
  • Own Dev Ops and release execution, including CI/CD pipelines, solution packaging, deployments, cutovers, and troubleshooting build, dependency, and environment issues.
  • Configure, secure, and audit platform environments, including roles, permissions, service accounts, and access controls, to ensure scalable and supportable deployments.
  • Provide production support, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and timely delivery of bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and source control standards to support long‑term maintainability and audit readiness.
  • Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, story allocation, and technical backlog prioritization.
  • Perform code and design reviews, including review of AI‑generated code, to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Mentor developers and consultants supporting the EHS business, establishing reusable patterns, standards, and best practices.
What you'll do (continued)
  • Web application development:
Strong hands‑on experience building and supporting enterprise web applications using .NET (ASP.NET / .NET Core, C#) and/or Java.
  • Microsoft Power Platform:
Power Apps (Canvas and model‑driven), Power Automate, solution packaging, environment strategy, and ALM best practices.
  • SaaS platform customization:
Configuration‑first approach with the ability to extend platforms through targeted custom development such as workflows, plugins, actions, and scripts.
  • UI customization:
JavaScript‑based UI extensions and custom controls; experience developing PCF components using React (preferred).
  • Integrations:
Designing and consuming REST APIs, working with approved connectors, and integrating enterprise systems and third‑party applications.
