Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Delivering gas cylinders that are stored at the local warehouse. Customers are within a 100-mile radius with an 80% fixed schedule. A typical day is 75% driving and 25% administrative. The driver will collaborate with the Depot Manager to establish working hours but will be supported by a normal 1st shift schedule (7 AM-4 PM). All customers expect delivery during normal business hours.
Emergency weekend deliveries may be required but are infrequent. Safety is a top priority and is vital to fostering a protective safety culture.
- Delivery and pickup of chemicals / compressed gases.
- Guide daily work by established inventory procedures.
- Update inventory levels daily for proper reporting.
- Physically load and unload materials.
- Protect safety and excellence in operating all assigned equipment.
- Pick and stage materials per first expiration first out rules (FEFO).
- Guide work by established spills / emergency cleanup procedures.
- Properly label all materials.
- Operate powered industrial equipment.
- Nurture primary connection with internal & external customers.
- Actively contribute to waste reduction & recycling program.
- Provide backup support for distribution department.
- Collaborate in site 5S program.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years commercial driving experience.
- Minimum 25 years of age.
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with hazmat endorsements.
- Driver’s license for state of domicile with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of DOT rules as stated in CFR 49 for safe transport of hazardous materials.
- 1+ years experience in chemical compressed gas field.
- Good general knowledge of computers.
- Initiative and self‑motivation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, be organized, and multitask.
- Dedication to quality and accuracy.
- Emergency Response Team member.
