Job Overview
Warehouse Associate, Animal Health – Tualatin, OR – DC (Distribution Center) Team Member responsible for receiving and storing products within a distribution center environment.
Responsibilities- Unload freight trucks, count pieces/packages/pallets, and sign Bill of Lading according to Company policy.
- Compare items to vendor packing slip/customer return note/transfer document, receive products ensuring correctness by size, color, quantity, etc.
- Accurately input items received into computer system according to Purchase Order, Return Note, or Transfer document.
- File completed documents and communicate discrepancies to relevant individuals, including Accounts Payable, Procurement, Vendor, and other DC facilities.
- Accurately and timely put‑away products into appropriate stock areas to facilitate customer order filling and check dating for proper rotation.
- No work experience required; must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prefer 6 months of warehouse or production experience.
- Ability to read and understand English language product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents.
- Basic math skills for accurate product quantities.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime hours as needed. Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds regularly and up to 50-70 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for the duration of the shift and perform bending, stooping, and reaching tasks. May require working in a cooler environment of 35–46°F. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
