Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is a JCAHO accredited health center serving a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital, founded in 1975, has a 73-bed capacity and offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.

The community is culturally diverse, serving Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American populations. This role supports maternal and neonatal care within this environment.

• Assists physicians and midwives during examinations and procedures.
• Provides comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to mothers and babies during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Adheres to physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital procedures.
• Supports individuals of all ages and their families.

• Valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice in the United States.
• Minimum two years of OB nursing experience (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, Labor & Delivery).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Heart Association.
• AWHONN Intermediate EFM Certification within six months of hire.
• AWHONN Advanced EFM Certification within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire.
• STABLE Certification within one year of hire.
• Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) within one year of hire.
