Overview
GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel registered nurse (RN) for an emergency department (ED) assignment in Tuba City, Arizona.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

- Facility: JCAHO‑accredited health center serving a culturally rich community with deep Native American heritage
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience (ER RN, trauma, or critical care background preferred)
- Valid RN license in any U.S. state (Arizona license not required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification
- PALS (American Heart Association) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required within 1 year of hire
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – required within 1 year of hire
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 1 year of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – must be completed within 6 months of hire
- Emergency Severity Index Level 5 – within 3 months of hire
- Patient Sitter Competency Training – upon hire
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan (adult, pediatric, neonatal) in a fast‑paced ER setting
- Perform a variety of emergency nursing procedures independently per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Provide trauma care, acute stabilization, triage, and rapid assessment using ESI and NIHSS standards
- Support patients and families during critical and culturally sensitive situations in a tribal health environment
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with hospital policies and JCAHO standards
- Participate in ongoing training, orientation sessions, and bi‑weekly competency updates
