GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel registered nurse (RN) for an emergency department (ED) assignment in Tuba City, Arizona.

Qualifications /

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience (ER RN, trauma, or critical care background preferred)
  • Valid RN license in any U.S. state (Arizona license not required)
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification
  • PALS (American Heart Association) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required within 1 year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – required within 1 year of hire
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 1 year of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – must be completed within 6 months of hire
  • Emergency Severity Index Level 5 – within 3 months of hire
  • Patient Sitter Competency Training – upon hire
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan (adult, pediatric, neonatal) in a fast‑paced ER setting
  • Perform a variety of emergency nursing procedures independently per physician orders and hospital protocols
  • Provide trauma care, acute stabilization, triage, and rapid assessment using ESI and NIHSS standards
  • Support patients and families during critical and culturally sensitive situations in a tribal health environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with hospital policies and JCAHO standards
  • Participate in ongoing training, orientation sessions, and bi‑weekly competency updates
