Registered Nurse – Med Surg is needed for a travel assignment in a surgical center setting located in Tuba City, Arizona. • Deliver direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting, following physician orders and established standards.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, perform nursing assessments, and document care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the health care team to coordinate patient care and transitions, while ensuring safety and infection control.
• Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures (vital signs, IV therapy, wound care, pre/postoperative tasks) and assist with procedures as needed.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning support, and referrals to appropriate community resources.

• Active RN license to practice in the United States (any state), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory; must be current, full, and unrestricted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications;
  Complete TCAR within six months of hire; NIHSS within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• Ability to work in a Med/Surg environment within a surgical center; comfortable with 3x12-hour day shifts.
• Education:
  
  graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure.

• Housing options available: shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability; housing application required two weeks prior to start.
• Orientation: every two weeks to acclimate to facility policies and procedures.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week on a 13-week assignment.
• Travel assignment support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, with ongoing assignment coordination.
• Start date and contract duration clearly defined to support planning and scheduling.
