American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications with flexible day/evening/night and weekend availability.
Details- Work in the Emergency Room of a rural referral hospital serving a large regional area
- Provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services to patients of all ages
- Flexible scheduling required across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends
- 13-week assignment with variable shift scheduling
- Facility accepts RN licenses from any state, AZ license not required
- Active RN license from any state currently in hand
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Current certifications required: ENPC and TNCC
- NRP required within 1 year of hire
- NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
- Emergency Severity Index Level 5 certification required within 3 months of hire
- Patient Sitter Competency Training required upon hire
- SSN required for consideration
- Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional judgment and independent decision-making
- Provide care and support to patients of all ages and their families following physician orders and established nursing standards
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
- COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a declination form
- Limited shared housing may be available for $600/month based on availability, with no family or pets allowed
- Housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start date if pursuing facility housing
- Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start, processed by mail during compliance
- Facility is JCAHO accredited and located in a culturally rich, rural community serving Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute populations
