Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Clinical Nurse

The Clinical Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing professional knowledge to support recovery and health maintenance. This role requires independent work while adhering to established standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and evaluate nursing care based on physicians’ orders and patient needs.
• Monitor, record, and report patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge procedures.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS, ACLS, and trauma care protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, unrestricted Nursing License issued by any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute setting.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Complete NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
