Clinical Nurse

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures that require professional knowledge and the ability to work independently while attending to specific patient conditions and treatments. The role includes providing support to individuals of all ages and their families, guided by physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures.

• Provide nursing care across various clinical settings.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of medical providers, including surgeons, physicians, and specialists.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering education and support as needed.

• Must possess a valid RN license from any state;
  Arizona state license is not required.
• Current certifications in the following are required throughout employment:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within one year of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within three months of hire

Limited housing options are available, including shared housing units at a fixed monthly rate. Please note that family members and pets are not permitted in the housing units.

This role is situated in a culturally rich environment that includes a diverse community of Native American tribes, including Navajo and Hopi, alongside other ethnicities such as Anglo, Hispanic, and African American. The setting is characterized by a unique semi-desert landscape within the region.

Orientation sessions are conducted every two weeks to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
