Documentation Specialist
We are seeking a Documentation Specialist to support a large-scale initiative to standardize over 2,000 Work Instructions (WIs) into a new global quality template. This is a temporary, detail‑oriented role focused on ensuring consistency, compliance, and audit readiness across all migrated documents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to maintain accuracy while working independently.
Key Responsibilities- Manually migrate content from existing Work Instructions into the new global template (copy/paste into defined sections).
- Ensure formatting, headings, tables, and metadata align with updated template requirements.
- Identify and resolve minor formatting inconsistencies while preserving original content intent.
- Track progress and document completion status; flag missing, unclear, or incomplete source information.
- Follow established naming conventions, version control processes, and quality documentation guidelines.
- Communicate questions, discrepancies, or exceptions to the project lead in a timely manner.
- 1+ year of experience in documentation support, data entry, administrative support, or a related role.
- 1+ year of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, formatting, tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure consistency across high‑volume documentation.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks independently while meeting productivity expectations.
- Strong written communication skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Tucker, GA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
