Administrative Services Manager

The Administrative Manager performs a variety of highly responsible, confidential, and complex administrative and financial tasks in relieving the Director, Deputy Director and/or Division Managers of administrative detail, assuring the Department runs efficiently and effectively. Organizes and supervises administrative and front office support staff. Prioritizes work, delegates assignments, and ensures all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Evaluates staff and handles routine disciplinary issues of administrative and front office support staff.

Requires advanced skills in all assigned office responsibilities and the exercise of sound judgment in the application of Department procedures and methods in receiving and responding to routine inquiries and requests concerning Department services. The position requires that the Administrative Manager maintain a professional, courteous, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor in all written, spoken, and personal communication interactions. Coordinates the management of financial functions assuring proper development and implementation of internal accounting controls, annual, and long-range financial plans for the Department.
